IC Funded Accepted and Restricted Countries

IC Funded accepts traders from most of the world, including the United Kingdom, most of Europe, India, Indonesia and Latin America, but it restricts around forty jurisdictions. The headline exclusions are the United States, Canada, Australia and Belgium, alongside sanctioned and high-risk countries such as Russia, Iran, Syria and North Korea, and, unusually, Saint Lucia, where the firm is registered. If your country is on the restricted list, you cannot pass KYC and you should not buy a challenge; trying to hide your location with a VPN is monitored and grounds for termination. Last verified: July 18, 2026.

Disclosure: fundedverify.com is an independent affiliate site run by Myx, a member of IC Funded’s affiliate program. We are not IC Funded and we are not IC Markets. We earn a commission if you buy a challenge through our links, but we only benefit if you can actually be onboarded, so this page is written to tell you plainly whether IC Funded works in your country, not to sell it to people it cannot serve.

The full IC Funded restricted list

IC Funded’s restricted-countries list, published in its FAQ and enforced at KYC, covers roughly forty jurisdictions. Traders resident in any of these cannot be onboarded:

The list can change, so treat it as accurate as of the verification date above and confirm on IC Funded’s own FAQ before you buy if your country is a borderline case.

The details worth knowing

A few entries on this list are worth a second look.

Saint Lucia is restricted, and that is where IC Funded is registered. The firm’s terms are governed by Saint Lucia law and its registered address sits there, yet it cannot onboard traders resident in the country. That is common offshore structuring. It is not a warning sign on its own, but it is worth knowing before you assume a firm serves its home market.

The United States exclusion is not unique to IC Funded. Most offshore prop firms restrict US residents because of the regulatory and payment-processing burden of serving them. If you are in the US, IC Funded is not an option, and no legitimate route around that exists through this firm.

India and Indonesia are both accepted, and that separates IC Funded from FTMO. This is the practical differentiator for a large share of prop traders. IC Funded onboards traders from both India and Indonesia. FTMO, by contrast, restricts Indonesia (and Kazakhstan) while accepting India, which we verified directly on ftmo.com on July 18, 2026. So for an Indonesian trader who wants an IC Markets-backed firm, IC Funded is one of the few options FTMO does not cover. We compare the two firms in full in our IC Funded vs FTMO guide.

Why these restrictions exist

Prop firms restrict countries for three overlapping reasons:

  1. Sanctions and compliance. Countries under international sanctions (Russia, Iran, North Korea and others on the list) are excluded because processing payments to or from them is a legal risk.
  2. Regulatory posture. Markets like the United States, Canada, Australia and Belgium have regulators or consumer-protection regimes that make the simulated-challenge model costly or legally awkward to offer, so most offshore firms avoid them.
  3. Payment and fraud risk. Some smaller jurisdictions appear on restricted lists across the whole industry because of elevated payment-fraud or money-laundering risk.

IC Funded operates as a simulated-trading provider registered in Saint Lucia, not as a regulated broker, which is exactly why the country list matters: your protections and your eligibility both come from that structure. We cover what that means for trust in our IC Funded legitimacy analysis.

Do not try to bypass the restrictions

If you are in a restricted country, a VPN that makes you look like you are somewhere else will not hold up. Here is why:

The honest position is simple: if IC Funded does not accept your country, it is not the firm for you, and there is no safe way around that.

What every trader needs, regardless of country

Even in an accepted country, two baseline requirements apply: you must be 18 or older, and you must complete KYC (photo ID plus proof of address) before any payout is released. Get the verification done early, right after your funded account activates, so nothing about your identity or location holds up a withdrawal later. For the rest of the rulebook, see our IC Funded rules guide.

Is IC Funded available in the United States?

No. The United States is on IC Funded’s restricted list, so US residents cannot be onboarded or pass KYC, and there is no workaround. Most offshore prop firms avoid the US for the same regulatory and payment-processing reasons. If you are in the US, IC Funded is not an option for you.

Can I use IC Funded in India?

Yes. India is an accepted country at IC Funded, so Indian traders can buy a challenge, get funded and receive payouts, subject to the standard 18-plus and KYC requirements. This is also where IC Funded and FTMO agree, since FTMO accepts India as well; the two firms differ on Indonesia.

Is IC Funded available in Indonesia?

Yes. IC Funded accepts traders from Indonesia, which is a real point of difference from FTMO, whose restricted list includes Indonesia (and Kazakhstan) as verified on ftmo.com on July 18, 2026. So if you trade from Indonesia and want a firm tied to a major broker, IC Funded is a rare fit.

What countries does IC Funded restrict?

IC Funded restricts around forty jurisdictions, led by the United States, Canada, Australia and Belgium, plus sanctioned and high-risk states such as Russia, Belarus, Iran, Iraq, Syria, North Korea, Cuba and Venezuela, and, notably, Saint Lucia, the firm’s own country of registration. The full list is published in IC Funded’s FAQ and enforced at KYC.

Can I use a VPN to access IC Funded from a restricted country?

No, and you should not try. KYC requires a government ID and proof of address, so a VPN does not change what your documents show, and IC Funded’s risk systems flag IP changes and multi-country logins. A trader who misrepresents their jurisdiction risks account termination and the loss of the challenge fee. If your country is restricted, IC Funded is not usable for you.

Is IC Funded available in the UK and Europe?

Yes, with one exception. The United Kingdom and most of Europe are accepted; Belgium is the notable European country on IC Funded’s restricted list. If you are elsewhere in Europe, you can be onboarded subject to the standard 18-plus and KYC checks. Confirm on IC Funded’s FAQ if your country is a borderline case.
